Grow and Show Garden Club

The Grow and Show Garden Club of Interlaken was federated in 1954, and is celebrating 55 years of enlightened gardening.  We are affiliated with the National Garden Clubs, Inc., Central Atlantic Region, and Garden Club of NJ District VIII.   Our membership includes residents of Interlaken as well as surrounding towns. We are an active group of 26.

CLUB OBJECTIVE:

  • To stimulate the acquisition of knowledge and love of gardens.
  • To aid in the protection of native plants, birds, wild animals and the environment.
  • To encourage civic planting, roadside beautification and the art of flower arranging.
  • To raise funds to finance the above and our new and continuing projects.

We welcome all to visit us on the second Wednesday of each month with the exception of July and August at the Interlaken Borough Hall, 100 Grassmere Avenue, Interlaken, NJ  07712, beginning at 12 noon with Lunch and fellowship.  Our meetings include interesting speakers, demonstrations with plantings, planned trips to gardens and museums, and hands-on projects.  Prospective new members shall attend at least one meeting and be individually introduced at that meeting.  Our annual dues are $35.00 payable in the month of April.  Please contact Christine Papp, Co-President, at 732-531-4448 or Joann Fischer at 732-531-3476, for more information.
