Letter from the Chief
On behalf of the men and women of the Deal Police Department I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, the agency, and the many programs and services we offer the residents of the Borough of Interlaken. During the last few years the members of the Deal Police Department have developed a professional and personal relationship with residents within the community. We take great pride in our service oriented form of policing and maintaining a strong line of communication with the community’s elected officials. Working together, we have made a lot of progress over the past several years. Our continued partnership will only strengthen in the future.
The mission of the Deal Police Department is to protect and serve the community’s quest for a peaceful and safe existence, to build partnerships with our community, to prevent crime and to enhance the quality of life throughout our community.
As public servants we rely on our citizens in assisting use with the prevention of crime. It is important that residents remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. This hand-in-hand approach to policing will deter crime and allow the residents of Interlaken to enjoy the peaceful setting Interlaken provides. I would like to assure you that the members of The Deal Police Department utilize the highest level of technology in an effort to prevent crime. We are constantly improving our patrol tactics and working diligently to protect the safety of the community.
We recommend that you follow us on our website, Facebook and Twitter pages. We also highly encourage every resident to sign-up for NIXLE. We are constantly updating and releasing important information through social media. Again, I would like to thank you for this opportunity and we look forward to serving you in the years to come.
